LOREM IPSUM DOLOR

Kiota children’s support center

The owners of ‘Warrior of life’ want to make the world a better place, especially by supporting vulnerable children in Kenya. Yvette is doing that through her voluntary choice of being the founder of Kumbatio The Netherlands and Kumbatio Kenya. This charity organization is founded in 2010 and supports orphans and vulnerable children in Thika (around 50km from Nairobi) to give them a better future than the one they would have had when they weren’t taken care of by Kumbatio. These children stay in Kiota children’s support center.

Needs of the children we support

The children we support are neglected, deserted or (sexually) abused. Supporting these vulnerable children means that we offer them psychosocial support, basic needs and they all can go to school through us. Kiota is their temporary home and we will try to reunite them with their family, if possible. Individual donors, organizations and volunteers are supporting us and since we need to support around 50 families, we need donations all the time to help them being self-reliant eventually.

Donate while you book!

When you book a safari through ‘Warrior of Life’, we will donate €10/$12/1200ksh to Kiota children’s home per person, per day of staying. In this way we will all be part of making this world a better place… and all just by enjoying your safari!

Swahili language

Swahili is the mother language of Kenya, next to other tribe languages. English is the national language, which makes it very easy to communicate with the Kenyan people.

Does ‘hakuna matata’ say something to you? I guess it is! It means ‘there are no problems’. Do you know what ‘Kumbatio’ means in Swahili? And Kiota? Just find out by visiting the website of Kumbatio where you can find our vision on the children and their families we support:
